They want representation from as many conferences and regions as possible. Half the country won't watch if it's just the SEC vs BIG10 classic. Y'all need to accept that it's about money. You bitch way too much. If you can't get in with 12 teams, you have no business being there. Gump lost to two unranked teams. Old Piss lost to Kentucky and us, both finishing unranked. SC got their asses beat by OM and lost to us. The bottom line is if you want in, don't lose more than two or win the conference championship! A lot of SEC teams blew the opportunity. Deal with it!!!

Tennessee was the best pf the rest in the sec
..
Getting boat raced.
Maybe just accept that the tier three teams arent as good as the tier one teams.
Bama and ole miss would look like smu in 15 degree weather.

We already know none of those teams are the best in the country so there is no need for them to be in the playoffs. That’s the point. It’s not about how many teams from your favorite conference get in. It’s about eliminating anybody like UCF from claiming they coulda woulda after the season. Maybe summer of those schools would have had a better showing in the opening games but that’s not the point. None of them would win the whole thing so it would be a waste of time.

With these big conferences having unbalanced schedules you’re going to have teams like Tennessee and Texas that benefit record wise by having easier schedules. A 10-2 SEC team may not necessarily be better than a 9-3 one.

The get ready for all " blue bloods". What everyone complained about the 4 team CFP was that Bama would get in without playing for a conference championship. The committee puts teams in that deserved it. Now the fans want teams like Bama who had 3 losses bc it would be a better matchup.
Now watch teams like Indiana and SMU won't get in unless they win their conference championships. Teams like Bama who can lose 3 games will get in bc they are Bama.
The CFP is in a no win situation. Put Bama in and everyone cries about SEC bias. Don't put Bama in and the games unfold the way they did, people bitch about why they were in there.

Don’t lose 3 games to shite teams

There shouldn’t be a committee. Take the 4 conf champs and put them in a playoff. Like every other level of football in America, you play to win a spot in the post season. It shouldn’t be a beauty pageant. Expanding the playoff gives us this garbage we saw on TV today

Tennessee killed your argument.
Based on all of the game results thus far, it’s more appropriate to argue that home field advantage was a much bigger role than the actual teams themselves.
Are you ready to admit that they made a mistake having these games hosted on campus? No? Ok then, stfu.

Yeah the 3rd best SEC team is currently get their shite run
Are they though?
Going into the playoffs they sure looked like the third best. Who was better? LSU was obliterated by Bama. Bama was curb-stomped by Oklahoma - yeah, that Oklahoma. Maybe S Carolina?

It’s not the committee. It’s the way the system was put together that’s the problem. I’m first in line to dog a selection committee but they were saddled with automatic byes and bids. Their only decision was SMU vs a bunch of 3 loss SEC teams. It was damned if you do damned if you don’t and I prefer they let an SMU team in over mediocre SEC teams personally but would have been fine either way.
