LSU signee pitcher Will Ripoll pitched a perfect game last night for John Curtis in Catholic league play against Rummel. 15 batters faced, 12 k's. Just an awesome performance.

Strikeouts are boring, Besides that, they’re fascist.

If you go by Perfect Game's ratings, Ripoll is our lowest rated incoming recruit. Doesn't really mean that much because it's so tough to evaluate that many players accurately. And Ripoll sat out his Junior year due to transfer rules.

But if it is accurate, how awesome is our recruiting class if our lowest rated guy is striking out 80% of the guys he faces and throwing a perfect game?

Gotcha, did not think about the run rule. Still very impressive against Rummel

This was the second no hitter thrown by a 2018 LSU signee in about a week: LINK

Cole Henry threw one on Saturday.

Clearly that Raider Pride caused a downvote.

Good job by the young pitcher.

He also nearly decapitated our 2021 SS signee a few games ago. Senior meet Freshman.

Then intentionally walked/plunked the next two batters.

Then struck out the next 2 on 6-8 pitches.

It's kinda a love/hate relationship right now.

Are you referring to the St Paul's game? That kid is a 2021, so even younger. Ha.

Pitching is what separates the big dogs from the ankle biters these days. LSU will always have descent bats.

He is having a very good year on the mound.

Accurate with some swing and miss pitches. His teammate Beloso (believe he is still a LSU signee) is tearing it up at the plate.

How does this class stack up to the rest of the country?

Top 5 right now. Can't really judge until the fall though. Or at least after the draft signing period is over. LSU will lose at least their top 2 guys, Turang and Cabell (Cabell has a chance to get to campus but I'd be really surprised).

But the #1 team Vanderbilt has like 5 or 6 guys that are projected top 2 round picks. There's no way they hold onto all of them.
