Your K-2 analogy is a good one, but for me it's softball and baseball. I can throw a baseball WAY easier than a softball. Imagine trying to pitch a softball instead of a baseball.

To a point. A point that Joe Burrow is clearly past.

We’re talking does a 10 inch hand make you a better QB and there are plenty of in accurate QBs with Big hands there are plenty of QBd with weak arms and big hands.

There probably is a size where your hand isn’t big enough. It’s not 9 inches and once you can comfortably grip the ball it doesn’t really give you too much of an advantage.

He has in college in ideal weather conditions. He's going to Cincinnati where there will be cold, wet and windy conditions and the windows to throw the ball into are going to be much tighter. He may be great, but it's not crazy to say that the hand size is less than ideal.

Wait.

Does your hand size matter or not?

You just spent the last hour saying it doesn’t matter

After a point it doesn’t.

And you’re the one arguing Joe’s physical limitations will kill him in the NFL.

And i have said I am Sure there are limits.

Said that a while back. But having a 11 inch hand doesn’t give you a bigger arm.

Once you can grip the ball well you can grip the ball well.

We act like this is so important but they didn’t start measuring untill someone decided Favre was good because he had big hands (NVM the fact that he still fumbled a lot)

No, I’m telling you what the data says. And even admitted their are outliers

I haven’t said anything specific about joe

But you are sitting here saying there is a cutoff. And joe sits in a single digit percentile. That’s awfully close, and something to keep an eye on playing 14 of 16 games (minimum) outdoors in cold weather cities

I would Say 0 QBs in the NFL have hands to small to grip a football.

A sorry but Brett Favre has more fumbles than any QB in history even with his giant hands.

Weird.

Please link these studies

People laugh at the hand stuff because it doesn't correlate to arm strength

Most would correlate hand size with fumble issues. Besides we already know they are allowed to scuff the ball and deflate it within regulation to their preferences.

I think it's more so for a wet football.

Something like 80% of passing plays start in the shotgun these days. Fumbling isn’t so much the concern as controlling & manipulating the football when you throw it. The bigger the hand the easier that is

It's fumbling when you get hit, not when taking the snap

Center /QB exchange was one of the biggest issues with small QB hands

And is one of the shittiest throwers of the football in the nfl. One of the main reasons he’ll never be a thing at QB

So clearly you have some NFL stats to prove that.

Because you fricking don’t.

I read, listen & pay attention. Been a talking point fit years.

You don’t know how to analyze data anyway. Stop asking for it.
