Will LSU look for OT help in the portal?

Or will they simply focus on their young guys coming in and developing for next year?

From what im seeing is Curne is going to kick a guy outside to OT

Perhaps, but is kicking a guard out to OT do Curne starts at an interior good on the whole?

Curne will start at one OG spot

If Jones comes back and moves to LT I think we’re in good shape… if he leaves we have to hit the portal.

We’re going to build our roster from highschool players and retention of our current roster. lol

I think we bring in 1 or 2 from portal, even if Jones comes back. Jones staying is as important as any other move we make this off-season.

He didn’t really say that did he?
We’re going after the guard from NW

Looks like slim pickings for OT right now. Maybe some late entries to the portal, but all im seeing is
Robinson from GT
Willis from K-State
Couple 3 stars from Rice & Western Carolina
ETA: there’s a few more including some guys from Michigan, Bama, A&M, Miami, etc

Not a lot of them, but what's there is pretty good.

We have had two great O-line recruiting classes and you people want them to leave by bringing in a one year guy that may not be any better than the people we have in development? Buncha dumbasses.

I imagine Echols will compete to start at center

This was the Les Miles’ entire OLINE philosophy. Recruit all guards and play them at all spots.

No one is claiming that. It was a question about what thoughts were on potential OL transfers. If LSU thinks the youngsters are ready, then so be it.

The LSU options on the team look just as good or better than portal OT.
Starting OT at every program and getting top NIL deals from their school.
