LSU's stronger wins took hits this week so far and will likely end up with LSU having only 1 top 25 win prior to the SEC CG, will this hurt them when the playoff committee starts discussing?

Lost a top 20 win in Ole Miss, Arky likely losing to Mizzou.

If LSU beats Georgia, they will have the two best overall wins compared to anyone else

Only as bad as a UCLA loss to Cal hurts USC.

no, I really think it comes down to us beating UGA. wins against other teams won't matter as much if we beat UGA.

Miss St will be moving into the top 25, so that's a swap with Ole Miss

Kind of. An Ole Miss win results in a higher ranked team than MSU can be and the committee cited Ole Miss being one of the better wins than USC’s resume has.

We are cheering for the Bears right now to keep that the same, with a substitute to the MSU win instead.

EDIT: of course the Irish and Beavers can help us tomorrow to make that idea a bit closer to being moot.

I don’t disagree, but if we are splitting hairs I’d rather the last week hairs go in our favor instead of towards a debate against us.

It definitely does not help LSU’s strength of schedule. Which probably doesn’t matter anyway bc beating UGA is all that will matter.
