Well you have until this next signing period coming up in about a week or so. Colleges usually make some crucial changes right after signing period so it doesn’t effect signings.
True... but... we've signed 19 so far with only a possible WR to go as far as offensive skill positions go.

I.e., that wouldn't be a factor for us at this time.

It could, I say could because E isn't going anywhere, affect us due to freeing up the pool of OCs to pull from.

The 3 go hand in hand. Obviously protection is critical. A good coorindator changes his play calling to help mask deficiencies in protection. A well coached team consistently executes the plays called.

yet we should get an Oline that has the ability to protect the qb. It all stats there. Not SE play calling or scheme. Protection Execution Scheme

You’re ignorant.

Absolutely. It would be a huge mistake to change now

You’re so utterly obsessed with all of this “nega v posi” bullshite. Just give it a rest. Jesus. I was simply wondering why we need two offensive coordinators

Maybe you should ask the coach why he wants to do it that way. Regardless the team needs a passing game coordinator. Why not hire a guy now to take over when Steve retires?

Why are you opposed to it?

The only reason I can see is what I posted. I can't believe that you would want to bring in another OC so the kids can start over again. Do you not see how that could set the offense back?

No you don't see it. You honestly think that the coaches can change the offense and plays on the fly during games.

You obviously never played football.

I have friends that are in the football coaching profession and we’ve talked about this at nausem.
One of them posts here and reads this garbage half y’all post.
He’s says all he can do is laugh, so many armchair qbs and coaches that have it all figured out that in truth have no fricking clue.

There's only so much you can mask. At some point the offensive line has to block.

Spotwood linked a good article describing LSU'S pass protection schemes. It gave me a better understanding of the schemes and why the offense was struggling so bad.

I don't know. I'm trying to figure out where you are.

Real question.

Do you honestly think that coach O should replace Steve?

An insider told me they’re close to inking a deal with Briles or Kiffin.
We’ll know by Thursday night for sure.

No way O will change OCs again this year with a senior starter returning at QB .....he will be able to run the Offense better next year and should see a big improvement in production.

and buy himself another year, while squandering our returning talent in 2019.

It was hard to grade Coach E on his job performance. The LSU depth chart was depleted. The talent level wasn't equal to Bama. 2019 recruiting class is very talented. No excuses, he needs to win games especially Texas A&M.
