Why do you think we had to settle for 2 first time coordinators this year?

No. He never will. He's gonna retire & open up a hamburger stand and call it "Joe Brady's" and the only burger will be the "2019 Offense"; with or without cheese.

I wonder how that conversation went.

Ed: "Yo! Joe! Interested in coming back? I want the Joe Brady offense to return."

Joe: "No, I'm good in the NFL"

Ed: "Who else knows the Joe Brady offense?"

Joe: "Ummm....this guy Jake Peetz, he has no experin-"

Ed: "He's hired. Boy I can't wait for the Joe Brady offense to return"

Joe: "Uhh... yeah...." *hangs up*

Joe: "Hey Matt!!! I just talked this moron into hiring Jake!"

Matt Rhule: "LOL"

You nailed it! Why in the hell would Rhule and Brady give up Peetz if they thought he was worth a damn.

Sean Peyton told O to go frick himself, when he tried to hire Ryan Nielsen LOL!

answer...

"I think both of them work very hard and have very bright futures."

Now in his press conference he’s blaming Joe Brady for the hire of Jake Peetz. “I trusted Joe Brady” was the exact quote.

Are you part of the Press Corp or do you watch/listen because you enjoy it?

Ed Orgeron on Jake Peetz: "The one thing I did was trust Joe Brady. I knew there'd be a learning curve. I won't say it was a mistake. It's not like they're not looking, it's just their experience level may not be what I wanted for this job."

this is unfathomable. First, the admitted no interview / hiring of Pelini. Now, you're admitting you failed at background checking another hire

O said he would do 2 things

- recruit (which he has done a good job of)
- hire great coordinators (which he's failed at except for catching lightning in a bottle once with brady)

and for anyone who says Brady was not "catching lightning", consider the fact that the man has admitted, twice in 2 years, that his interview process has failed.
