These Clemson fans are pretty confident about winning the whole thing here in Charleston, SC. I’m not willing to take the merit of their success in previous years and apply it to this year as the media has done.

Clemson’s defense hasn’t seen an offense like tOSU. Likewise, tOSUs defense hasn’t seen an offense like Clemson’s.

I think the difference is tOSU has played some good defenses and has still been able to put up points. Clemson’s offense has yet to come even close to playing against a good defense.

I think tOSU has the edge over Clemson. Thoughts?

Clemson wins by 10.

But I have no evidence to support that guess. And I could be very, very wrong

I like Clemson by 2 scores. I am basing this off of what I saw in last years NCG. lol That team, for the most part, is still in that locker room. I hope I'm wrong.

More concerned about LSU walking in with the big head and losing.

OSU/Clemson means nothing if we lose

I think OSU’s big game experience will help them and if they can pressure Lawrence into bad throws they will win. Clemson doesn’t have the defensive line to shut shite down like they did last year. I got OSU winning comfortably.

I don't care either way. I just hope they beat each other up in a long grueling battle of attrition wherein they test out the new OT rule.

This is the most focused LSU team I’ve seen. They’ll be ready to go. Believe that.

An Ohio State University will be exposed. The national sports media will continue their trend of being completely wrong. A few weeks ago Joel Katy said they are the best team he has ever covered.. I say Clemson by 10

I just don't think "good defense" means what it used to mean. With modern offenses I just don't think it's possible for a team with less defensive talent to be fundamentally sound enough (or however you want to describe it) to stop an offense with elite athletes - - you saw this with Utah and Wisconsin (and to a lesser extent Georgia) last week.

A "good" defense now is measured by how many gamebreakers you have, because the way you stop a modern offense that has elite players is with sacks and turnovers. None of the teams that OSU has beaten are "good" defenses in the useful sense of the word in 2019.

I think Clemson is going to dominate. The only thing I see as a problem for Clemson is that they haven't been in heavyweight fights this year. If they get hit squarely in the jaw a couple of times, they might not be able to recover.

I would like to see OSU when an emotionally charged squeaker then Joe Burrow lights them up...

Man, Joel Klatt has been insufferable. He also said OSU was in the top five of the greatest college football teams of all time.

I agree. But, Wisconsin and Penn State both play good defense. Even if you don’t consider them to have good defenses, Clemson hasn’t played a defense anywhere close to either of those two teams.

The football gods want Ohio State vs Joe Burrow. I’m good with Dabo not making the finals.

tOSU will be exposed. Happens all the time when a Big10 team ventures outside the Big10 bubble.

I don’t think either will be “exposed”.

They are both very good and it should be a good game.

I’m hoping they beat the hell out of each other in multiple overtimes
