Will Chavis be the first coordinator....

It's possible. I think he still has to sustain his level of Coaching for years to come, but by the time he steps away from Coaching, the list of players he has Coaches, and the statistics of the units under his leadership will be astounding.

If they are going to take a coordinator in the Hall of Fame, I would guess Mickey Andrews will get in before Chavis has an opportunity to be elected to it.

I'd have Mickey Andrews a head of Chavis at this point.

A friend made that comment to me. Honestly I never gave it a thought ( though it would be well deserved ) I just assumed that somewhere along the line there would have been a assistant that had received this honor, but he says no.

That would be deserving as well.

I would think you could make a case for Norm Chow as well.
