You see the bitterness on this board and among this fanbase regarding that 2012 loss?
So, isn't it likely that the same bitterness is residing in those players? They can't voice it 8 years later. This board still does?

The bitterness from that year runs rampant in our fan base, so why is it not okay for him to be bitter? He knows much more about the situation and what really happened than we do.

I’d guess it’s the 2011 players that prob have the most angst towards him.
As they should.

Les to the public and media was not the same Les the players saw. He’s kind of an a-hole and obviously a stubborn jackass

From what I understand of the situation the game plan leading up to the game was to open up the offense including using Lee and Jefferson together. The morning of the game Miles got cold feet and thew out the game plan and reverted back to ground and pound . The Offensive players got pissed and had a minor revolt including Lee (one reason he never saw the field). Blackwell and others probably feel like they were the better team and Miles stole a Natty from them. I would probably feel the same way given the situation.

For those of us late to the party what did Blackwell say?
Posted on 1/16/20 at 9:21 am to LSUbase13
Blackwell got his fat arse blown up all night against Bama. Literally got b!tchslapped. He's probably mad that Les didn't put him on the bench to save from embarrassment. What he posted in response to Miles was classless. Oh and btw he's never been too complimentary of LSU since leaving. Frick him

Was Will Blackwell the O-lineman that left the team out of the blue in the offseason with eligibility left and no reason given?

You mean the last group that carried him out of the A&M game on their shoulders?

I think Blackwell’s feeling are in line with a lot of former LSU players. Miles for all his quirkiness and good tv was very hard to deal with and very close minded. He was going to do things his way or the highway even when his way was clearly outdated and stale. What he did to Jarrett m Lee and T Bob Hebert in the 2011 championship is almost criminal.

what does Will Blackwell’s response to Les Miles mean to you
That Blackwell can fall off a cliff for all I care.

No that was Alex Hurst that quit mid season. He was our starting m RT that year which was one of our best and deepest OL ever. Big Chris Faulk was the LT. It’s a shame his knee kept him from having a very good pro career. He would have been a 10 year starter somewhere.
