He needs to explain why the team was not ready to play.

13-0 sec champs maybe, but you wont get WVU next year if you make the title game. DH will not be a 1st year coach again next year, and WVU returns everyone as well.

Look forward to a rematch!

The defense played good, not great. The offense was the worst I've ever seen.

because we lost the national championship game, in new orleans, to alabama, in a horrific fashion sorry, but this wasnt "just another game"

I know, it is a hard pill to swallow but get real.

Ok, not to try to spread rumors, but one of the ones I heard was they were just notified of NCAA violations, and players are going to be declared ineligible and wins will be vacated.

so you aren't trying to spread rumors by posting a rumor?

Agreed. If miles makes some sort of apologetic statement regarding the game and addresses how to avoid this in the future then a lot of the fanbase will feel better. Beating Bama next year won't hurt.. but obviously at 13-1 there aren't many reasons for a logical person to lose any faith

but if it were the case, would that help you not have such negative feelings towards Miles?

WHAT!?!

That's like arguing that Miles was only distracted from the game because he had just got finished axe murdering my brother, so I really shouldn't be mad at him.

My point is that I know it's just a rumor - I'm in no way saying I think it's true. I'm asking if hypothetically that were the case, would it make people feel better.

I have faith in Les Miles right now.

I understand being disappointed. And, clearly nobody, including the coaching staff, did a good job in preparation for Bama.

But, some of you guys are so far overboard it is embarrassing.

I don't have more information. I didn't ask him who he heard it from - thought about it later.

We were just talking about how horrible the game was, and I said there had to be a reason for it being so bizarre. Then he said that's what he heard.

So losing institutional control would make me feel better about a horrible loss? Some of you are too funny.
