Ive been to Richmond a few times. It's a mid-size city, with everything a mid-sized city is supposed to have.
and, I don't care really if I have to cook my etouffee there or here. It'll come out the same.

If we want a big name we will have to pay a big paycheck. Will we, I doubt it which makes no sense to me. And if we can't get S. Smart how about Keith Smart. He is from BR.

I live in richmond and grew up an LSU basketball fan. People that live here love richmond by and large. good place to raise a family. housing costs are reasonable. public schools are good. Lots of festivals on the weekends. Good music scene. Lots of good restaurants including a new orleans cafe that we have eaten at a few times. Had crawish pasta there last weekend - it was delicious !
Shaka is happy here and so is his wife. He has only been here 3 years. He is only 34 years old. he wants to build this program to where they are going to the tourney every year. VCU had the 9th youngest team in the country this year and were one basket away from the sweet 16. dont be surprised if we make another final 4 run next year. Shaka has recruited very well the past 2 years. We have a real good class coming in this fall and already a very good point guard committed for 2013. Shaka has something special going here and he knows it and basketball is king. 19 straight sellouts. new practice facility on the way. Now do you understand why he is not leaving ?

Where is it at? Must be fairly new within the last couple years. I know when I lived there the only place you could get red beans and rice without cooking it yourself was popeyes, and that only made it Southside in the last 5-7 years

Better talent pool that just needs to get locked down..
FALSE.
there were NO Louisiana high school players ranked in the top 100 by Rivals, for 2011-2012.
someone else needs to go over the 2012-2013.
Maybe there is a Louisiana guy in the top 250.
