Why was it acceptable to trash the coach for 11 years...

What's really sad is watching lsu fans shite on the best decade in lsu football history just to diminish a coach. I've never seen it happen before. Most fan bases talk up their team's accomplishments but not lsu fans.Numerous times today I've been called a miles lover for stating facts about Miles' tenure. Not 1 opinion. Just facts.
Miles has one of the best win % in sec history? So what, his offenses were horrible.
Miles has 7 of the 16 top 15 finishes lsu has since 1965? So what any dumbass can win at lsu.
It's truly mind blowing.

I am not attacking you are any other people defending Miles.
I think the move has been made so it's pointless to debate and I'm not shitting on the man or his accomplishments anymore.
And contrary to what many here think, he did accomplish good things, and I understand we're spoiled as fans, but I always thought IMO, he should have had at least one more conference title in his 11 years. Attack away, but that's how I felt.
But Les was a great representative for LSU on and off the field.
I just hope the fan base can finally get behind a new coach. Any coach following the first FB coach that won a NC at your school in 50 years was going to have a no-win situation on his hands. Les was ALWAYS going to have detractors coming to LSU following Saban. Hell, Lombardi, himself would have had detractors.
And Les always knew this, but he handled it with class. That much needs to be respected.
But here's to a new direction where everyone will become "posi-tigers"
