Or
His team quits in the middle of the season.
His team quits in the middle of the season.

I never indicated I was not disappointed in that - hell, for all I know, players may have gotten wind of all this first and it contributed to this quitting. Sure happened all of a sudden.

I think the frustration for many fans is they feel hopeless with Les Miles as coach. 2011, when LSU had arguably the best college team ever, only to get embarrassed by our most hated rival, in our back yard, many fans came to the conclusion; "LSU has nearly zero chance to win a national championship with Les Miles as coach."
That's not saying Miles is a bad coach or we couldn't have a successful program with him. Many fans just want our Tigers to win another title at some point in the future and it has become more and more clear over the past few years it is very unlikely to happen with Miles as coach.

Pro-Miles or Time to Change - one thing we should all agree on is that the national and SEC media
NEVER
has LSU's interest at heart
NEVER
has LSU's interest at heart

same people on here calling for a new coach, and running Miles out of town and bashing him.....are the same ones that will be bitching and crying if the coach they want is not hired and returns LSU to the 90's book it

But now the same usual suspects are falling all over themselves melting over any criticism said about a coach that isn't even here yet?
It makes no sense.
I think Les is a good guy. I just can't feel sorry for coaches who make millions of dollars per year getting criticized. The coach doesn't care what fans think of their methods. If a fan wants to spout off and think he knows more than a coach, where's the real harm? Obviously, any power 5 head coach has forgotten more about football than nearly any fan.
We can feel or think whatever we want to, but the tail doesn't wag the dog. The folks on this board are not the reason that there will likely be a change. Anyone angry about this needs to direct it at the AD and major boosters. I'm not angry about it if its Fisher. I will be upset if we end up mired down in a coaching search.

Didn't mean to suggest you did. Just pointing out that's one of Les' biggest downfalls, IMO.

True, for this season. But the problem is this is a pattern. It started in the 2nd half of the 2012 BCS. You saw it clearly last year after Bama, with Arky. Then, in the bowl game.
In his first half at LSU, I don't recall it happening. Seemed they were always fighting until the end. Most troubling thing about the team lately, is what seems like a quitting mentality when things get tough. I can't figure out anything to blame that on but coaching. HC has to be able to get team believing every game is important, regardless of record, etc.

The PosiTigers? The guys that viciously attacked any critic of Miles?
They are extinct.
They are extinct.

Coach Miles's poorly-coached football teams will no longer be tolerated.
Whether he's a great coach or not is irrelevant. What's decisive is that his teams are poorly-coached and this will no longer be tolerated.

Miles has sucked since 9/26/05 when he blew a 21 point halftime las against Tennessee. I've always thought he was a fricking clown.

Will never happen. Miserable people are miserable. Many of the same people will be calling for Coach Next's head the moment something goes awry.

Yes I am. Mediocre. Sec= 6-2, 5-3, 4-4, and another 4-4. Getting $4 million a year. Sorry but with all these so called 5 star recruits that mediocre. Hey I like miles. He is a great guy and has done some great things while here. But it's time to move in a different direction

They aren't all doing it, you still have pos posters like Winston318 and Northshore...both doing everything they can to bash Miles every chance they get.
I think most of them are just glad a decision has been made and they are actually acting with a little class...unlike the two posters I mentioned above.

What? The majority off the poster on here are shitting on our 2012 & 2013 seasons just to shite on Miles.

I don't see any of this.

You say people will discredit LSU's accomplishments this past 10 years because of hatred for the coach
On the other hand, people like you sound like your boy love for Miles is superseding your interest in LSU shooting for a potentially better future than with him at the helm
