He had a season and a half. Has not been overly impressive! Hired an o coordinator he could not get along with and had a mediocre recruiting class (his strength)!

People were legitimately upset that he was hired, but a handful of idiots decided to hate him for it.

What hate? It cracks me up that anytime someone expresses an opinion someone else disagrees with it becomes "hate". It has to be the laziest moniker in today's lexicon.
Based on the objective evidence --- his prior record --- O was not qualified for the job. That is not hate, it is fact. As another poster said recently, if O had been from Boise he would not have been hired. And probably not even interviewed.
Support your argument with fact. What about O makes him the next great coach at LSU? His record prior to LSU? His 9-4 record against the weakest schedule in over a decade? The Troy loss --- the first such loss in Tiger Stadium in 17 years? The MSU game, where the team looked so unprepared and lost it was depressing? The Canada hire/fire? Why should we believe?

I’d express my opinion but admins have been banning those who say anything negative against O
I’d give my opinion but I’ve been banned a couple of times for it, so I’ll just shut up and watch the goal posts continue to be moved from championship expectations to “meh, we got a good recruiting class”

He wasn’t liked on this board 10 years prior.
He wasn’t our 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice..we settled
He didn’t have the resumè to coach LSU.
