Why would Walker playing mean that Walker transfers if Walker is better than the current 2 QB’s?

Because there are only two scenarios in which Howard plays more than 3 more games.

1. Daniels and Nuss both go down and can’t return. No one can help it if this happens.

2. Kelly breaks his agreement with the Howards that many in the local media have alluded to and anyone paying attention knows about.

If the later happens, Walker will be gone next year and that will be that. That isn’t going to happen because Kelly isn’t going to play him unless it’s absolutely necessary. Walker will play next year. You should just accept and deal with that.

Does Howard give us the best chance to win the rest of the games this season? No. As much as you want him to play and develop the coaches will play whoever gives us the best chance to win now. There’s a reason he didn’t win the QB battle.

Then if you accept losing games with sub-par QB play as acceptable, then roll on and don’t question me questioning the QB play for potential better outcomes.

What you and I say here doesn’t mean shite. It has no bearing on anything in the real world. These words are not worth the electrons is takes to push them around the Internet. It’s pretty hilarious that you think they somehow matter.

If this is all true, then you’d better not bitch if LSU loses Every SEC game remaining in the season

You are living in a candy-coated fantasy land if you think this team has any shot at an SEC Title. 8 or 9 wins is the fricking ceiling for this team and anyone who knows anything about football knows that.

That dude really said if we stay with Nuss or JD were doomed to go 8-4 and if we go with Walker we’re going to win an SEC title

Wow… 8-4 would be an incredible season for this team. I’ll take that right now. We already have one loss and 3 games against top 10 teams coming up over the next 4. It’s a rebuilding year!

You think JD is the reason for our only loss. That says all I need to know

The last thing we need to do if the season goes south is throw a true freshman QB to the wolves. Damn. Rotate Daniels and Nuss and get what you can out of the two of them for a season.

Making a deal with the Howards may seem crazy to the two of you, but how many other 4/5* QBs were ready to walk into this shitshow last off-season? If a deal is what it took to get Walker here, then it was the right call.

He said nothing of the sort. He answered your question. Twice now.

He isn't "questioning" you about the QB play. You asked a question

quote:

Why not Walker Howard

And he answered it twice.

Not sure why it's so difficult for you to understand his answer when it's been explained in pretty simple terms.

I know 4* Rickie Collins was willing to commit this season (without a guaranteed RS next year) and 5* Dante Moore strongly considered it. Also, A 5* #2 nationally QB for 2024 is already high on LSU and has visited multiple times.

You are talking FUTURE QB recruits. That’s not the same thing. Kelly and his staff have come in and done a tremendous job of turning around the image of the program after O ran it off a cliff. I am not surprised that this has swayed Collins and gotten attention from others in future classes.

But Kelly and company didn’t have time to do that before early signing day last year and there were no other legit QBs still considering LSU after how last season went. We HAD to lock Howard up to be the next guy in line with an almost empty QB room. That’s not even remotely close to the same thing.

The only way we win this game is running on them for 300 or more yards. We won’t keep up with them through the air unless we have 2+ TDs on defense.

So Tennessee has you so impressed?

Tennessee has played Ball State; Pitt; Akron; and Florida.

Even their “Big Win” over Pitt is questionable after Pitt got beat by Ga Tech.

Ball State?

Akron?

Florida by 5?

So why are some of you so convinced Tennessee is a great powerhouse?

Well by looking at what's going on the field right now Walker can learn what not to do.

Why not Walker Howard

Because for most QBs - even the ones who end up being NFL greats - it takes a couple of years to learn the college game. And contrary to what you think, you learn the game in practice, not in games. Practice is the place a coach can be in his ear explaining his reads and correcting his mistakes.

A QB has no business on the field, until he has developed a level of competence that Howard almost certainly doesn't have yet.
