Ole Miss is probably top 10 as far as baseball support goes from both the university and boosters/fans so spare me the doesn't have the resources bull

Just because we got Kramer’s mom doesn’t mean we have to have Drew’s dad.

One answer...we should have swept one of his best teams he's had at ole miss with one of our worst teams ever. He has only been to Omaha one time there and they are a good program, but I don't see bianco taking that next step to winning a national title. Bianco won't be the guy. No way.

He’s a fine coach. LSU could do a lot worse, but this isn’t the job for him. Realistically, if he was ever going to be the coach at LSU it would have been when Mainieri was hired

So “competitive” is the new LSU BB standard?

He won't be seriously considered for this position.

20 years and 1 trip to Omaha and only 1 SEC reg season championship isn’t enough. And Ole Miss has the baseball support and resources and he’s had capable teams to make runs, but he just hasn’t done it and taken them to that next level for whatever reason(s).

But some on this board actually think Vitello does.

Good coach not great coach. Would literally be Paul 2.0 for LSU. Leaves pitchers in too long and tries to outsmart himself with the L/R matchups taking someone out batting over .300 and bringing someone in batting .190 simply because of the matchup. Most frustrating shite ever.

Bianco and his wife Cammie are very happy in Oxford and he can stay there as long as he wants to coach. He has been emphatic that he does not want to come back to BR.

I still believe the coach is chosen at this time. I think it will be Cliff Godwin. My guess is a good as yours! HA!
