Why move the game to 4:30?

Because it’s windy?

It is very concerning the complete disregard the AD has been showing to fans lately.

Everyone knows it’s Windy.

The AD isn’t making that call.

I know it is coaches but at some point the AD has to step in and put an end to the ever shifting game schedules… people make plans to attend these games.
This isn’t Arizona where nobody cares about the games so it’s not a big deal.
I fear CJJ has gotten a bit too comfortable moving these around at his every whim. Scotty needs to reel it in.

I've been monitoring the weather all week b/c of the parade. When they moved the game, the forecast showed rain starting around 9pm. That has since changed. I have done my share of bitching about the schedule changes this year, but this one made sense at the time. I think 5pm would have been fine, but they gave themselves some breathing room.

Im pretty sure you're trolling, but let's say you're not. If they keep the game as scheduled and then rain moves in and they have to delay, how does that put fans in any better of a situation? At least when they move the game time you know the game will be played and you can try to rearrange travel plans.

Jay did it to make you start this dumb thread

Great points! Not to mention who wants to waste our Friday night guy if the weather does come thru in the top of the 3rd. Then people would be complaining about that!

Jay will continue to do it for the next 20 years he’s here also and there’s nothing Woodward or the fans can do about it. He’s going to make whatever decision he thinks is best for the team, that’s all he cares about and I don’t blame him at all

I mean two other SEC series moved their games up this afternoon. Quit acting like Jay is the only coach that does this.

It sucks that it was moved, but I understand. I’m going to miss first pitch and hope to be there by the third inning. Regardless, we are still going to see the TIGERS play.
GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

Ok so the alternative is start the game on time and have to delay it for who knows how long. Doubtfull to even restart tonight with the forecast. Then tomorrow we get the regularly scheduled game with no ability to resume todays game. Then Sunday the best we get is a shifted schedule and probably 7 inning games, depending on where game 1 was stopped.
So either way you are going to have to shift shite around. This way, you get all 3 games in as close to normal as possible. Not to mention its the best chance to keep your pitching rotation in tact. Anderson starts game one and is mowing them down and it gets delayed in the 3rd. What then? Now your entire rotiation has to be reworked.
In short, quit bitching.
