Vegas has proven they have no idea how to predict LSU in SEC games this year. They have missed by at least two touchdowns several times.

MS St. -2.5 and they lost by 15.
TN -1.5 and they beat us by 23.
OM +2.5 and they lost by 25.
AL -13.5 and they lost by 1.

Hangover effect and history when playing there. The line will likely move if too many take LSU.

It is all about getting even money on both sides. Nothing more.

Anyone who has followed LSU for long has seen this movie. Shitting the bed vs Arkansas after both emotional wins and losses vs Bama. Both at home and away. I expect a dogfight.

Yeah but for the first time since Saban left, we actually have a real coach.

40 degrees; road trip following very physical and emotional game; AR is still a decent team; AR always plays LSU tough; The Boot trophy aka Doug Planchard’s mantle piece

I still put $10 on it last night. I got faith even though it may be a trap.

That is a comical myth. They are trying to extract the most money for the best value for their books. They often have overexposure on games and do not move lines to square them up. Also, under your scenario that have real risk of being muddled by sharps if they move lines just to try to square up lines. They are doing way more than trying to have equal action On both sides.

There’s more to it.
For example - over 80% of public money is on lsu and it still has not moved above a field goal and probably won’t.
Every week there are spreads that get 80+ % of public money . The lines don’t always simply move to find money.

It's Alabama who LSU hadn't beaten at home since 2010. LSU just needs to concentrate on winning this game and not respond as they traditionally do with a hangover. Arkansas at that bad.

Maybe oddsmakers are expecting an LSU emotional letdown after that brutal game last weekend.

We know Brian Kelly is a great motivator. He and his coaches are good at making adjustments. So now we get to see if Brian Kelly can get the Tigahs up for a tough Arky team.

I love me some Tigah and SEC Football.
