Yes
I was just naming what you were describing. I was not saying we were running that.
Just because Nuss waits at the mesh point doesn't mean he has the option. If he does he's the worst zone read QB in history and we have a whole new set of problems (like running the zone read with such a terrible QB in the scheme).

Such a vanilla running game. What happened to the counters and toss sweeps they ran in the first few games? The lack of misdirection really kills the offense also. No jet sweeps, reverses, slip screens, or QB run threat to keep the linebackers and ends honest

I definitely wish sometimes the playcalling would mix in some good old fashioned hat on hat blocking. Everything is zone which often times puts the offensive line at a disadvantage because their first step is lateral and not up field.
