How do you know they arent? Maybe they just arent attention whores like Gordon.
Totally makes sense to pay players for their NIL and keep it hush hush. You wouldn't want them to appear in ads or anything...

Because Nathan Fisher is dead (may he Rest in Peace).

They are not Drake, Williams law firm here in Ponchatoula had a deal with Mike Jones. It had some kind of a tie in with Blake Ruffino and Jones was on his show sometimes. Not sure if it was all season I quit watching that terrible show.

Gordon is the only one who makes sure everyone knows it. Doesn’t mean he’s the only one.

From a business prospective NIL is a waste of money. Doesn’t lead to money well spent. Rule of thumb for every dollar spent on advertising should lead to three dollars of income. Gordon spent a million on NIL and I guarantee he didn’t get a three million return. You don’t even get any perks. No priority points, no VIP action. Nothing. Gordon’s dad and Gordon have always kept an LSU guarterback on the payroll.

No, it’s not. The point of NIL is to give boosters a legal way to pay players.

Just spit balling here, but I'd look at it like this: Most people that want a PI attorney are only looking for one (unless it's a very complex or class action case maybe)
If someone were to pick their PI attorney based on whether he supports NIL for LSU athletes, they'll probably be inclined to go with Gordon because he has such a head start on the publicity. Any other lawyers wanting to get in would have to both outspend him and mount a big publicity drive if they want to be the first choice.

1. ROI on NIL is negligible.
2. The kids aren't generally reliable. You could sign up KB#7 one day, and two months later, he may declare for the draft.
3. As said above, there are no real perks to it.
4. Injury law is a business. There's a method to the advertising spend. If you spend outside of the proven model on things with no ROI, you are doing it for one of three reasons. (1) Branding (2) Ego (3) Both. And there's nothing wrong with any of those three, but that is a lot of money to set fire to for branding or ego.

Oh well. Don't have much use for lawyers until I need one.

That's everyone. That's why most people bad mouth them until they need one, and then their lawyer is the best person on the planet.
