Joe Burrow likes night games.

Anywhere. Anytime. I doubt the team cares.

. I was just curious as to why some see that as preferable on the road.

Perhaps they want to be able to enjoy their Saturday before the game, go to a kid’s or grandkid’s game, what-have-you. Who knows.

But I don’t see this “clamoring” that you do. And I’ve never been to a night game at Bama, but not every venue provides the same nighttime advantage Tiger Stadium does.

Bryant Denny gets up for night games. I’ve been to every LSU Bama game on the road since ‘05. Definitely rather play them during the day.

ETA: I want the biggest stage possible because I know our guys can handle it and make it all the sweeter. Ultimately, it's a game. It's more fun with all the hype. What's the point of winning if you do it at 11:00am when people hardly want to be there .

What's the point of winning? It's the chance to go to the playoffs? You don't get opportunities like this every year.

I wouldn't give a damn if it was 3 AM kickoff. No one's going to say, "well they only won because the game was at 2:30 pm."

Just more than a few posts of people who seem to be anxiously hoping the game gets set as a night game.

There's certainly different "convenience" factors to both times, and as I said, I don't really care either way. I've just never had the mindset that I would really prefer a road night game, as I do for home games.

I want it to be a night game bc more people will probably get to see the game. I want to be the center of the CFB universe...2011 game was pretty awesome.

We have a really large % of stupid people in our fan base, if you hadn't noticed that yet.

Would prefer a 10:00am kick if they have one

Nah after the Vandy game I would not want that. We looked slow against them. 2:30 at the earliest. I want to give them our best shot

Alabama, since 2005, is 45-7 (.865) at night and 107-26 (.765) in afternoon games.

At home, at night, they are 26-2 (.929) since 2005.

Anyone with a brain would say they like to go after opponents' weaknesses and avoid their strengths (unless you're Les Miles). Bama is statistically weaker at home during the day, as is the case with most teams.

It isn't fear, it is common sense.

That being said, frick em, we're comin'.
