They have the most talent year in and year out and one of the best coaches in modern college football.

Bama has 63 four and five star players on their roster and the closest team in the SEC to them is LSU with 45 four and five star players on our roster.

Damn. The difference is nearly an entire first string. In other words, their backups are likely better than the starters they're playing on the other team.

Recruiting to needs as seen by Coach Saban. Selecting assistants that apply the same dedication to their profession.
How long do you believe the Maleveto train wreck would have been continued on a Saban coached team?
Remember the DC hired by Saban when he was at LSU? He lasted about two weeks and he was sent packing.

Bill Belichick has been known for recording other teams practices and other forms of cheating. Saban is a Belichick disciple and probably picked up a few tricks from him. Not saying he's cheating, but it's very odd that his defense is always in the right spot at the right time and never makes mistakes.

Why do John Curtis and Evangel Christian have so many state titles? It's pretty simple, really. Just stack the roster!
NFL is the only competitive football league. And Saban failed miserably there because he didn't get 25 #1 draft picks!

The process going on in Gumpville these days. A younger relative played O line there recently. His mom was LSU graduate and Dad was a former O lineman at another Sec school. Tigers did not recruit the kid. Kid arrived in Gumpville at 300 lbs...he redshirted freshman year. During red shirt year he lost 50 lbs. After losing this weight he then added approximately 40 lbs of muscle. Their S & C program is unreal.

Yes - excellence is pursued and DEMANDED in every phase of "the process," from the head coach down to the water boy. A few years ago, someone posted a photo of a list of LSU players who were not keeping up in their strength and conditioning program - it included some of the key players on the LSU team (e.g., as I recall, Anthony (the Freak) Johnson was one of them). Moffit can't overcome a lack of discipline in the program because of the head coach. Maybe Orgeron will turn that around - I hope so.

Trent Richardson was on at Bama. I think that explains his drop off in the NFL. Stricter drug testing with bigger/stronger players he can't manhandle

That would make sense since most of them don't do squat as they do at Bama.

Of course the test must be conducted by Saban himself and handled "in-house" by Saban.

They hide their players and the strength by using words like Fundamentals, 5 stars, best coach ever, melt, jealous, discipline. You can't beat them when bama's 200 lb DB can wait for a 240 lb back to try and run them over while standing still and not budge on impact. Got to be fundamentally sound. I can live with that.

This

Is it great coaching? Some of it, yes.

But, he has the best talent & that's the bigger thing.
