re: Why hasn’t LF performed at the same level as

Barry Sanders is the greatest RB of all time. No one is confusing LF for Barry. Emmitt Smith ran behind one of the greatest O-Lines in NFL history for most of his career. Not saying that LFs issues aren't with his O-Line, but rather you could not have chosen to more terrible comparisons to make that argument.

Well Cook and Henry play for playoff teams. Jacksonville does not even resemble an NFL team. LF7 needs to get the hell out of there.......would love to see him on the Chiefs.

He literally has no help.
No o line, no receivers to help pull guys out of the box, rookie QB who might be good but he is having the same problems.
The organization of run terribly. They have 22 players up for free agency and are already over the cap. So they are in trouble.
On top of the fact he has struggled with injuries.
Also the dude who said Barry Sanders, you are dumb bruh. Yeah maybe the best RB of all time, no doubt top 3, should be the bar we set for all RBs. His skill set was also the type to help him have success without a line. Quick, shifty, great moves to make guys miss.
Leonard would literally have to run over the guy who hits him behind the line...the guy who hits him at the line...and the guy 2 yards beyond...just to get into the second level.

It’s pretty simple. Henry and Cook are on teams that are in the playoffs and LF isn’t. When your team is pretty bad like the Jaguars are you probably have bad OL play. Not many bad teams have a good OL in the NFL. So to answer you question bad team = bad OL = no production out of your running back.

Barry Sanders had atrociously bad o lines in Detroit and still performed. I don’t like the bad o line excuses. Does it help to have a great o line? Sure, ask Emmitt Smith, but it’s not the end all be all.

Fournette has very little wiggle and patience ence.
Posted on 1/5/20 at 2:26 pm to Geauxt1499
Because he’s not dedicated.

LF looks to0 thick to me, I think he should trim down at least 10 lbs
Ol is not great, then add injuries to the list of problems

Because he’s faster and quicker

He earns into a brick wall probably 75% of the time. Zero offensive creativity. It’s like he’s in the same offense as his LSU days.

Fournette and Cook had very similar seasons
Posted on 1/5/20 at 2:37 pm to Geauxt1499
Fournette's greatest ability is his speed. But to use that he has to have a hole to break into the secondary. No blocks - no Leonard. Didn't Alabama prove that before he ever got to the pros? The other attributes Leonard had was being big enough and strong enough to bull his way for yards after contact and throw defensive players off with a stiff arm. Lot harder to do that in the pros where all the players are elite, big and strong.
Posted on 1/5/20 at 2:38 pm to Geauxt1499
Lots of reason but most are a result of the team he is on. No QB, no oline, bad defense
Posted on 1/5/20 at 2:38 pm to Geauxt1499
Fournette has had a great year this year.
Posted on 1/5/20 at 2:40 pm to Geauxt1499
Well... LF had more rushing yards and receiving yards than Cook this year.
Posted on 1/5/20 at 2:40 pm to Geauxt1499
Fournette was 6th in yards from scrimmage this year, ahead of Cook and only slightly behind Henry.

Are you one of those people who think every RB runs the same? If you actually watched BS and LF run the ball you would immediately recognize the differences. BS was a side to side runner who would sometimes run 50 yards to gain 10.
LF is a north and south runner who might run 20 yards to gain 10 in an extreme situation.
LF needs an OL. BS wants an OL.
I loved watching BS run, but it was not "Championship level" play. Championship level runners may wiggle, but they don't constantly run backwards.
