Jobert’s slump was a product of teams shifting against him. Jobert was impacted by shifts more than anyone else. His slump began when he was rocketing balls into the shift and couldn’t buy a hit because of it. But he was making solid contact. It probably hurt his confidence. He’s gotten some oppo hits and gotten a few hits through the shift the last few games before this weekend. It snowballed from there and he’s on fire now. His slump was pretty overstated by the Rant. I’d like to know what his BABIP is.

Believe it’s .256 now (was .248 entering today).

Since we have it up, Gavin Dugas BABIP is .448 this year
