Why give Cam a free pass on this?

Miles isn't going anywhere first of all. He is a great coach in all other aspects but knows nothing about how a modern day college or NFL offense works. Cam possibly knows how to be effective on offense but we have yet to see any proof of it yet. 2013 had the greatest collection of of talent on offense ever who could regularly complete the 3rd down pass even with the d waiting on it. Cam is either an idiot that doesn't know how or is not a strong enough personality to stand up for himself. Either way, he needs to go. He is the OC after all and this starts and ends right at this feet.

When the toss dive has been around long before Cam, you decide who is the problem on offense.

What NFL offense did Cameron run where his QBs threw passes 10-15 times a game?

It was the same offense that we have seen since 2009 sans 2013 with 3 different OCs.

C'mon man. This is Miles. Not Cameron.

Okay boxcar, if every single person on this site don't give him a free pass, I'm sure it would change everything...did you think before you started this thread?

this is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard in a place where stupid is the norm.

There's no doubt that this is the head coach's offense. How many times did we throw on first down? How many times did we throw to the backs out of the backfield?

Cam is calling the plays. Agree with you that Miles collaborates with Cam in making the game plan. Even if it is all on Miles then Cam needs to step up. He is a very highly paid OC with tons of experience. He is not some young inexperienced OC who would allow him self to be pushed to the side.

I read that line until my head actually began to hurt.

Mata Hari was a great spy except she knew nothing about not getting caught.

nothing that is written on here changes anything on any subject so why even have a forum? Of course nothing is going to change. Everyone knows nothing is going to change. We'll run the same stupid predictable offense. Be in tight games every week eek out some wins, get a few losses, and finish out the season in some low level bowl.

I don't. I don't believe he's calling the plays, but he should man up and demand the right to do so or resign. Saban lets the boy wonder run Bama's offense. Other offensive coordinators have the right to call the plays. Hell Les let Chavis run the D. But he insists on maintaining personal control of offensive playcalling. And he's absolutely terrible at it.

We need an OC with balls. Otherwise Cam, for all his behind the scenes genius, is no more useful than Crowton was by the time he left.
