BK won the west, BK won a heisman, BK has won 9 or 10 games every szn so far (which is in the well above average realm of CFB), CFB is a long-term developmental game with recruiting and developing players, BK has built a highly ranked team with national title hopes this season, BK is owed a shite ton of guaranteed money.
MM has at the bottom of the SEC in year 3 with no prospects or signs of improvement. MM can be released for a reasonable amount of money. MBB is a single year sport, there is not much development. Numerous other coaches with equal or less time with their program have far exceeded what MM has done.

While we all want the playoff. Kelly has a team often regarded in the top 12 or so. MM has a team not even regarded in the top 12 of our conference.

We have made the postseason every year under Kelly. We did make the NIT under McMahon last year if you want to count that.
I would probably rather McMahon as a next door neighbor though if that makes you feel better.

3-15 in basketball is like going 1-7 in the SEC in football. BK was 5-3 and tied for 4th in the SEC. MM would be tied for 15th in the SEC in football with only 0-8 Miss St doing worse. Does that help.
