well people always feel the need to assign blame to someone and Les Miles is at the top of this thing and should absorb most of the blame and he should expect that, as any CEO type person should

but I also find it funny how tRant picks and chooses which players you can hate on

Rug:

It makes you feel better imagining that someone is pounding on the keyboard, huh?

Gifs are fun for you and can suffice for actual substance, no?

Its indicative that those individual players had enough talent to be drafted by an NFL team, yes.

If a team has the most or second most talent in the NFL over the last 10 years...would it be safe to say they have had top 5 talent?

So would you say that a team that, on average, has more players drafted by the NFL than another team is more talented than that team? What if over half of the starters for one team gets drafted whereas less than 5 starters for the other team are drafted. Would you say that there is a talent gap there?

Yes, an NFL starter would be considered most talented.

I won't blame the players. They looked like they left it all on the field. But I have heard miles say there was no bama hangover. I would have rather said there was a hangover. Miles is not getting his players in a position to be as good as they could be. A lot about how we do against ole miss will be shown within the first 5 mins of the game. If miles can't get his team fired up and call better plays they will wilt like a grape. The more I think about it the more I want les gone after this season no matter how they finish. We need some new blood in here.

Maybe they're smarter than their coaches. Sure, we want good, obedient soldiers who obey their leader's commands. But when you know your opponent knows what play you're going to run, yeah, it might tend to discourage you.

Okay, so how can you say that an LSU team that puts more players into the NFL than the teams they are playing is not the more talented team?

Give me a break! You people will find any excuse for Miles! You think our talent isn't as good as freaking Ark!?? Wow!
COACHES jobs are to get the players motivated and ready for a game! NOT PLAYERS!

The LSU team this past Saturday does not have any players in the NFL.

You're right. It's the players fault. LSU has been the victim of high school players putting together fraudulent highlight films! These high school kids took advantage of ol' Les and conned him into thinking they were good! Damn kids!

which player makes 4.3 million a year or 900,00 or even a paltry 300,000?

There is your answer. Coaches get paid to be responsible and accept responsibility.

If they have players who are failing

1. who Recruited them?
2. Who decide to play them?
3. Who could bench them?
4. Did I play all the players on the sideline?

I do feel for Coach Miles, he has no choice as to which high school players he recruits, and signs to play in his program. They are forced upon him.

So, you're right. Let's blame the players. Why not?

"Player, I condemn you, because you were really good in high school, I saw your film, I saw you play in high school, hell, you came to my summer camps. It is YOUR FAULT that you could not figure out how to play better in my rigid system, and that your dad couldn't pay for private blocking, tackling, throwing lessons. What, you expected ME to teach you how to do those things?"

You listen to tRant too earnestly.
You don't really beleive posters can tell you what the exact call is each presnap? There can be tendencies, but getting the precise play.... maybe 5-10% correct.

How ghey.
No command, it's called do your job, win your battle.
There seems to be a problem with that last part since playing stiffer competition.

Because the coaches aren't putting our players in the best position to have success and they have no alternative plans when things aren't working. That's on them and their being prepared.

Why are most so delusional in thinking LSU's players are always superior to the other team?

Could our coaching be better? Sure, but when someone points out that a particular player just isn't that good, its like someone pissed on their mother's grave.

To put it as simple as I can. 1. He's known as a great recruiter which he is. 2. He puts more guys in the NFL than anyone. 3. In the time between him recruiting them and them becoming paid professionals, historically, they've sucked...
