Why does half the fan base hate this team so much?

The parody on this board is so dumb. I swear half the people here are so happy we lost so they can say shite like “we are who we thought we were” or “this performance is laughable”. The last 2 nights you all tucked tail and went to sleep and now bc the 1 seed beats us, it’s time to subject us all to the same 15 threads that you started in the 8th last night and the 7th the night before. Just shut up and realize that we can’t win every game.
We are playing in a regional on the road, against a very good baseball team, in an electric environment, that have a much better pitching staff than us.
How bout we just say let’s fricking go tomorrow, and for once rally around this team before our season is over.
Probably too much to ask for.

For me as a fan, it's a head scratcher that we have a pitching group that probably couldn't start at LA College in Pineville.

Like clock work you have the post season crowd.

Half of those are people who grew up in an era of this website and just think that's what is normal. It's like kids who grow up in an abusive home.
The other half are the fair weather type who are put out when the team loses. Their disappointment is more important to them than the team or game.

The lineup on paper is a pitchers nightmare and then we let some junk ball pitcher and a guy who has 3 meaningful innings on the year make us look like clowns.
It’s been a consistent theme this year. They can look like world champs for a handful of innings and then can’t field a ground ball or throw to first base.
It’s very frustrating to be a fan of this team. That’s just the reality.
