Well this does beg the question of who was LSU's last truly successful dual threat QB? Herb Tyler?

Just my two cents, Brennan's resume (accomplishments) as a passer make him ideal for our OFF. From what I have read (game stats/camps) he has a strong arm and makes good reads/throws. We need a passer 1st to run this OFF and make us most effective.

Even if you're worried about his throwing ability, worrying about a 2017 recruit when the chances of Miles and company actually coaching the kid through his career are slime to none seems a bit ridiculous.
Someone like Narcisse is precisely what Herman has flourished with at the QB position.

Hell any position on this team outside OL is the same bs.
If there's a white kid playing there than certainly there's a black kid on the roster that should be instead.

Look no further than lacatuor, Quinn and Jeter.

Yeah I didn't want to go here but you're 100% correct. It isn't a racism thing though, it is simply an ignorance thing. To the majority of fans, a black QB = dual threat. This place things Jennings and Jefferson were dual-threat QBs too. They'd love to have the pocket passer Chad Kelly though.

Nah that's not it. Many people here want white QBs because they're "gamers and have a high football IQ." All of the stereotypes about white football players are considered enviable traits for a QB. People see Etling succeeding and Harris failing, and instead of going to the painfully obvious reason - Harris is simply too inaccurate on short/medium throws - they explain it by Etling being a smarter player. There is absolutely no way to know that kind of thing, except when one QB is white and the other is black.
You can stick your head in the sand all you want, but every watch party or atmosphere that I encounter when watching an LSU game has people making the same kind of racially laced comments.

How about the fact that the kid has thrown 200 freakn passes without an int
In Hs!! He's accurate , athletic and has a strong arm. This isn't a yearly prospect. This kid is special. With the luck we've had at coaching up DT's and putting em under center I'm all n for Myles. He's just a better fit. If Herman was here maybe it would be different. But probably not because that's how good Myles.

I'm definitely excited about Brennan and think he can be special
But I'm also not going to write off Narcisse. I love that both of them are coming (hopefully). Competitions is good. Let them fight for the starter job.
