What's wrong with this assessment again?
Our defense is young. Our WRs are good but not the best. Our QB is still unproven. And we have one of the toughest schedules in college football.
How many losses did we have last year again?

I quit paying attention the journalism majors years ago. Most didnt even play. LSU is good, they've recruited well. I think of writers like when teams talk about how loud a stadiums gonna be and that will be the difference. The writers just like the fans wont play a snap. ALL games will be decided by players on a field 100 yds long and 52 yds wide. Nobody else. I couldnt care less what the media thinks about anything. Remember preseason number one last year? there ya go. Good luck to the Tigahs tonight

Sorry, the "lack of respect" angle disappeared about 10 years ago. Every college football fan nationwide and the national media knows what kind of program LSU has. They're on national TV give or take 8 times a year, appearing on multiple commercials, and are generally thought of as on of the top 5 programs in the country by just about everybody. Find something else to get bent out of shape about.

I fear for the college/SEC football IQ of any not respecting a LSU program with 3 BCSCG appearances, 4 SEC titles, 107-25 record, and a SEC record of 63-22 in the last decade.

The media thinks Les Miles is a buffon. They don't laugh with him , they laugh AT him. When LSU starts beating Alabama , then we will get some respect.
Everybody has Nick Saban's cock in their mouth. When you win multiple NC's , you will get respect. This football season boils down to this; will Alabama lose two games prior to Jan. this season? If the answer is no , then the Tide wins another NC. Period.
