My household does not hate A&M, but that is because we have some good friends who are A&M grads and they are good people.
We attended yell practice with them in about 1990 and I actually thought it was kind of neat. Clips I see now make me cringe.
LSU needs some kind of unifying cheers/traditions like other schools have. Maybe I just can’t recognize what we have now (we seem to have lost some like Tiger Bait and Two bits), but other schools seem to have more traditional cheers the whole crowd really gets into.

We had a pretty nasty series with them from 1985-95, so my hate comes from that era. Buncha weirdos. Did not want them joining the SEC.

When I was at LSU, they were our first game of the year and our standard out of conference opponent. Made it a big rivalry. Really fun. The bands even had a rivalry.

I was neutral about the Aggies until the continual gloating over The OT Game. Since then, they have become the most annoying fans on social media. I guess in 2040 they’ll still be talking about “that OT win”.

Jimbo Fischer has not forgotten how to coach. He won a title. A&M is a good school with lots of opportunities for a coach to win.

They’ve been sort of quiet since it was pretty much established that they absolutely suck, but once the off-season begins, venture over to to the SEC Rant. It won’t take long to notice they are the absolute worst.
