I just love having this argument because it's indefensable from a personal perspective unless you are a season ticket holder and you just want to make sure nobaody has fun while you are absent (greed and jealousy) OR you are LSU trying to sell season tickets for a premium.

you ar geetting the best view with the most comfortable seats and the best amenities.
and so would the freeloaders, just for cheaper right?
This whole thread is ridiculous. A bunch of moochers are upset the rules have changed and they can't get the better seats for the cheaper prices anymore. It's that simple.

You're just upset that someone would want to sit in a better seat without paying the money, aren't you?
IF I paid 3K for each seat yea I would be. But that is coming from a middle class perspective. If 3K was nothing to me then I would likely feel the same as I do about someone sitting in my bleacher seats. But thats is assuming all those people in purple seats are filthy rich. Personally I would never sit there because everyone sitting in that section has given much more money to the program than I ever would. If you dont think these people matter to LSU athletics you have to be an idiot.

"Its policy in Tiger Stadium and nobody thinks twice about it. What I dont get is why people feel the need to sit there"
The box except for 2-3 games has had actual attendance around 50-60% of tickets sold. that would equate to 44,000 -55,000 seats filled in TS. TS is at probably 97% capacity and higher actual attendance. you dont have entire empty sections or rows in TS like we have in AB

If I went to EVERY game and saw someone doing this then I would feel pretty ripped off that I could have done the same without having to pay a 5000+ premium (two seats)
so, you are Ferris Buellers sister?

Not Greed or Jealously.. Its a thing I like to call RESPECT and MANORS
Or maybe you also teach your daugter to 'BORROW' without permission what others worked hard for too..

So, what you are saying is Person A, who has tons of money, deserves more respect than Person B, who has just a little money?

Explain to me who is being disrespected.

You let the bum down the street borrow her bike? Do you share your car? When you go on vacation do you leave your house open incase a bum wants to spend the night? Are you really this stupid?
This is the best way I've heard it explained yet and I fully agree.
Besides what's so bad about your seat that you can't just enjoy the game in the seat you paid for?

I have a feeling certain posters are about to label my political position.

Im saying that if you sit in someone elses seat and refuse to get up you have issues.. THIS IS THE EXACT reason they started this policy according to the game marshals.
Respect is realizing that the person that paid for those seats paid a lot and the people sitting around you ALSO paid a lot of money to have that view. YOU DID NOT therfor move to the level you paid for.

First of all it's my niece, second of all I would teach my daughter that if someone can use something that was going to waste because of her then she should gladly give it up for the betterment of that other individual.
Thirdly, who said these people aren't asking for permission? Do you think most people would be as assinine as you and refuse a person a seat?

Why cant the people who never show up to games give their tickets away or put them up on LSU Marketplace? Its embarassing to see so many empty seats.

Honest answer: most of them are old as frick and don't know how to use a computer. There really is no way to get these people to sell their tickets, or give them away.

i dont think its an age issue. i think a lot of them just dont care until regionals start, are there to be seen at important times, and couldnt care less about making it a tough place to play most of the time

if they worked so hard for it, why don't they show up to the games?
