I don’t really care about those guys now, you’re right, it’s a business and they both got processed. I hope that both don’t come back to the program ever. It’s time for a reset.

He even said that line in The Blind Side movie.

He's not a good head coach.

They were both willing to give their lives for this program. That should tell you all you need to know.

What? O couldn't even keep from banging blondes that weren't his wife for this program

Two things can be true. But in Coach O’s defense, I believe those blonde episodes were mostly accidental.

I ask this question when people say "(insert player) came to LSU because he loves LSU"

Just like with coaching, and really, everything in life, you pick a place based on an opportunity. It used to be opportunity to best showcase yourself for the NFL, now it's that plus money. Nothing changed with the mindset though, the only thing that changed were the constructs.

What all did he say? Please be specific.

I don't know Ed personally. so, this is all 2nd hand, but it's a message board. Ed was recruited and signed by LSU as a player and left after 2 weeks because of being homesick. I believe he grew up an LSU fan like most of us. He left and i think that "bothers" him. FF to early 90s, while coaching at Miami, Ed got into a bar fight in Baton Rouge. Shortly after he left Miami and coaching for a short stint. FF to early 2000s and he's the HC at Ole Miss. i "heard" Ed told Joe McKnight to go to USC if he didn't come to Ole Miss, "Don't go to LSU". I "heard" that there were a few other recruits during that time he told something similar "don't go to LSU".

That stuff happens. I "think" deep down there is a love/hate relationship with LSU. He will ALWAYS be loved for the 2019 season. But that success couldn't be sustained. I have no bitter or ill will towards him, but i also think his relationship with LSU is complicated at best.

I mean yeah, I would also be telling 5 star players to not go to my direct rivals... which LSU was to Ed at the time.

Huge nothingburger.
