Reason #1- if they come back they still gotta play with a coach who knows nothing about game management!!!!! #2- if they come back they still playing for a coach who's really overpaid!!!! Last reason if they come back they have to play there fails off and have there overpaid coach blow another big game by not knowing what to do!!!!!!!! Great recruiter of talent, just cannot coach the talent!!!!!!!

Blocking NFL tight ends will have no issue with him until he gains some size ande strength.
He can add size and strength in the NFL.

He can also get hurt next season and hurt his draft stock. If you're top 10, you go IMO.

Almost Every recruit wants to be a 3 and out. In Basketball they want to be a 1 and out. How would u be if u were them? These guys come to LSU to go pro whenever their draft status is right. Any Jr that comes back is thinking one more yr equals higher draft ranking if this isnt the case time to roll the dice and get paid for these bruises.

There are exceptions like Barkley and Manning but u cant blame guys for taking the dollars when their stock is the highest.

Nice post. Its easy to look good when u have a Claiborne shutting down the other teams top threat all nite. Reid is a long strider and his coverage skills are questionable. Reid is still a great player and should have a good NFL career. Simon is a good SEC player but its definetely different playing against the other team's 1st WR vs second especially in college. Im not sure how his NFL career will be, he is tall and that will help in the NFL where some of the receivers are huge but not sprinters. Time will tell.

It's not always about being ready. It's about timing and where you're going to get drafted.

So turn the team against the coach? That will solve all the problems?

You are truly stupid if you believe that.

For every player that hates the coach there are probably 5 more that like him I would guess.

Every army has deserters, every team has disgruntled players.

If there was a major problem here we would hear about it don't you think?

All the negative bullshite some of you dipshits here post every day is a tired act.

Instead of complaining, offer solutions to the problems that plague the team.
Like: Poor line coaching, poor offense play calling, poor QB development.

There's no doubt LSU needs a new OC and some new ideas in the offense. Our defense can't sustain being on the field ¾ of the game.

who is doing this?

it's apparent by the comments by rueben randle, brandon lafell, brad wing, t-bob, etc that there are plenty of players who are already turned against miles. we have nothing to do with that (and wont' have anything to do with it. i mean c'mon)

have you not followed rueben randle's tweets this year after LSU games?

miles needs to grow a pair of balls and hire competent offensive coaches and/or allow them to implement an advanced, aggressive offense

It isn't just Randles. There have been several others. Miles offense isn't popular with former offensive players. I would guess the current ones have similar feelings.

Evidently the NFL scouts and GMs think they are NFL ready if they are getting drafted in the first couple of rounds. NFL careers are short and they want to make money while they still can. Who can blame them for that?

Simon isn't even close.

Mingo, Montgomery, and Logan are ready.

Minter is ready, but I think he could improve his stock by coming back another year, simply because the linebacker position is pretty strong in this draft.

Ware and Ford should both go. They won't get enough touches next year to improve their stock.

Reid really wasn't all that amazing this year, despite his all-American status, but you can't blame him if he leaves. In the end, I think he stays.

Loston might surprise some people and go pro, but I have him staying.

In the end, I think we lose Wing, Mingo, Montgomery, Logan, Ware, and Ford. We keep Minter, Simon, and Loston.

They are leaving for the NFL because that's where the money is and they don't want to wind up like Lattimore.

he's got the most to earn by coming back, but if he has another 2012 he's in UDFA territory so he could hurt himself, too

his stock has been falling since his freshman year. if that continues, staying only hurts him
