lol, no it wasn't. We played up tempo, we had more of a spread look, we had multiple plays with receivers running to the middle of the field. We didn't do that Saturday, mate.

You don't know what you are watching.

When your OL plays that shitty, it doesn't matter what kind of offense you run.

The heat was off so it's back to business as usual.

This was EXACTLY the same offense. The difference is the production we got out of the running game.

You can't get into your playbook when you only run 18 plays in a half.

This. We even ran the exact same plays we ran in that game. Problem was, it didn't work and there's NEVER a plan B. Ever. Halftime adjustments? You want that kind of nonsense, go watch FSU.

When everyone in North America knows the ball is going wherever the FB is going then you tend to have issues with production out of your running game.
This. While not everyone has the personnel to stop our running game, we certainly are not fooling anyone. Our offense is simple to read because the full-back always takes you to the ball.

You've spent the past couple of days trying to defend Les. I even saw you tell someone else to reconsider where they are in life (irony).

Take a break

Wrong, you make adjustments. You don't try to overpower the opposite team.

Correct. Texas Tech's defense was one of the worst defenses LSU has faced in over a decade

Because Tech's D wasn't on the field.

That means you put all but 1-2 receivers inside the tackle box?

Texas Tech was 127th in total defense last year (2nd to last in the nation). You could literally do anything against them and it would work.

Miles is Miles. They just decided to do some different things against Tech because they were confident it could succeed against a terrible D like theirs. But against decent defenses, Miles likes to do what he does because he believes that it's the safest way for him to secure victory.

And we've seen him lose 4 of his last 5 regular season games. Should have lost to Mississippi State.

We did go up tempo, ran the same ol jet sweep, etc...just not enough plays to get anything going because the ones they came out with didn't work and their idea of "adjustments" is going to the I again and again. 24 out of 50 plays from the I.

I really think Les respects the Big 10 teams too much to beat them.

I guess we won the NC against Ohio State on accident and came back more than he wanted against Wisconsin the previous time we played them. I believe we beat Iowa in the Capitol One Bowl a few years ago too.

If you think we use anything close to the same offense that we ran in 2007, lol.

We were down 24-7 to Wisconsin until we spread the field. Same exact thing when we played TCU in Dallas - played much better when we opened it up. The Iowa game was ugly as hell.

That is the problem, we are not aggressive. We wait until it's too late. I'd be curious to know how many 1st possessions have resulted with a 3 and out the last few years under Miles.

we ran the exact same offense. Difference is, we were playing one of the worst defenses ever in TTU, vs a damn good defense in Wiscy. We ran up tempo against both. We run up tempo when we get into a formation that finds success. We had that success all night against tech. When we started busting off good plays against Wiscy, we hurried back to the line to prevent any subs by the Wiscy D.

The difference was QB pressure. Our OL couldn't stop the Wisc blitz and Harris couldn't execute a play under pressure. TT didn't come close to that level of play.

My bad, y'all are correct.
My point remains though that he treated Lambeau like a field trip and not a business trip.
