Why didn't the SEC and Alabama suspend the player that threw a punch at the Georgia Player

The SEC suspended Dylan Stewart for throwing a punch at a player from Alabama. Sounds fair and reasonable to me. Why hasn't the SEC and Alabama suspended the player from Alabama (number 5). Double standards apply to Alabama. Stewart to his credit did not pout and take his bags and quit the team and get ready for the NFL draft, he took the one game suspension and moved on and played against Florida, and yes he was a factor in that football game. If you wear that A across your chest you have different standards than the rest of the teams in the SEC.

Has the SEC or Bama ever suspended a player ??

I think the suspension came from USCe and not Skanky. Stewart also disobeyed the coaches and didn’t want to come off the field.
But, the gump kid should be suspended.

Because Alabama has not threatened the SEC's first Amendment rights...

I guess they figured he was punished enough by looking like the biggest idiot of the year in college football. Other than maybe the Texas player with the vulgar gesture.
