The empty seats really stand out, though. I’ve noticed this at Tiger Stadium.

Little known fact, the same architect for Alex Box built Oregon's Stadium as well, just a smaller version. Built in 2009.

The concourse/grandstand area is nearly the same

If you look deep enough you’ll see that many, if not all, of these things are connected.

They are connected only if fans don’t actually care about the sport/team/game - those fans are welcome to stay home. Let the real fans go to the games. It is apparent there are not as many real fans as we would like to think there are.

I will confess though, that the concessions suck big time and I would like LSU to improve them. I still go to the games, but I don’t buy many concessions anymore.

Ridiculous and short sighted comment.

If the fan experience is better there is more energy in the crowd and more people in the seats. If the atmosphere is better it helps program exposure and recruiting. Premium money for luxury boxes helps fund practice, training, and other player facilities. It shouldn’t be a fan experience vs player experience argument like we somehow can’t have both.

So that when our stupid fans are not grousing about the PMAC they can make more senseless comments about another sports facility. It’s a god damn ball park stop the endless bitching.

Is your gotcha going to be that RV’s were allowed to park in the gravel lot between the demolition of the old box and the start of new construction?
not exactly a gotcha if that’s what actually happened

I'm not sure its feasible, but shifting the entire field back towards the grandstand would be a big plus.

The minimum backstop distance allowed is 25 ft which I think is what Alex Box has.
