Of course whomever is the “volunteer” hitting coach needs to make them see a ton of low pitches and not swing. Just a thought.

You do know those runs that he’s given up aren’t inherited runs right?
They’re unearned runs. If a pitcher gets guys to hit 50 ground balls in a row and they all go between the shortstops legs, and they call come across to score, is he a bad pitcher?

I’d rather he put someone in that didn’t get on the team simply because he’s left handed

Putting a lefty in against a lefty isn’t trying to be cool, it’s trying to play the percentages that all coaches do.
Kaminer has pitched well and needs to see pressure situations on the road. There might be reasons to be mad at Paul, this isn’t one of them. Anyone who understands baseball knows that young pitchers need to be developed in pressure situations. This wasn’t even a pressure situation. His hit batter pitch missed by an inch and that’s the coachs fault?
