Make that shite happen and make it general admission where people can bring ice chests, grills, etc. Would make for a much better atmosphere imo. Students would enjoy it a lot

ETA: didn’t they make the right field bleachers student section this year anyway? Perfect spot

I'll tell you why.

Bc LSU admin have the perception that they DONT NEED to go to these lengths to pack the park.

.....however, with Woodys intro speech, he may change some things.

The story is there is a major underground utility that runs adjacent to the railroad tracks.

Because we have 11,000 seats to fill. Why empty some of them to put people on a berm?

They also have stands out there.
That and cages, weight room etc. in right field.

And you don’t let fans sit in CF

Because some of these seats need to be taken out and reduced and then replaced with chairbacks.

LSU won’t do anything that could potentially take away from revenue.

Maybe money bags Joe wouldn’t, but I think Woodward will see things a little different

If you want to sit on an embankment with your blankie and cooler, there is a big one along the MS River.
Admin is not going to give up the bleachers nor the parking spots in either outfield. And, to make something big enough for viewing enjoyment would take a lot of dirt and room (which isn’t there) or a huge arse brick wall to put dirt against to create the slope. That, too, is not going to happen. And, after it rains, the people wanting this either won’t go to game or bitch their shoes got muddy

Wow you sure are angry about a mound of dirt. Were you one of Joe’s people?

You are aware that with proper drainage and sodding you can prevent muddy areas? Crazy the world we live in isn’t it

In order to build a berm the right way the field would have to be sunk. Otherwise a built up berm would look stupid as shite. I agree that it would be awesome to have but it just isn’t going to happen

My daughter(no pics) is graduating from Arkansas in two weeks. Her and her friends(no pics) went to their Friday & Saturday games this weekend and camped out in the left field area where you can bring your own tailgating chair and ice chests in that area they call the “hog pen”. I’ll be going to the Saturday game on 5/11 rooting on our Tigers. She says they have a blast at those games. LSU could easily doing something like that.
