Why can't we just accept that booing is part of "expectations"

in big boy sports.
It's human nature...No one (sober) would boo a player in their face. It's a crowd/group atmosphere thing...Fans know what good looks like.
Is it reasonable to just expect just cheering in the good times and silence during the bad times? That's not a reasonable expectation for crowds
If people want to boo, well, that's on them. I am not a person that boos, but I am a person that expresses my passion in frustration and discouragement. My way of venting might be even more discouraging than booing if I was being taped on the jumbo tron. talk about body language. LOL!
I am not condoning (booing or Venting) it or condemning it.
"it just is what it is" We love Tiger football with great passion.
The focus should be how to improve the offense.
Fans are fans. The fans are not hte problem with LSU football.
Didn't tiger stadium just get recognized as the toughest place to play in CFB? LOL, I think it was meant for opposing teams...LOL
I can make an arguement that booing in sports is what makes sports great...It's ugly yes, but maybe it makes over-coming adversity that more sweet

Any stadium who has fans who actually care will boo. It's the way of big time sports.

I'm pretty sure he said he doesn't boo, but you're right. You shouldn't actually read his post before calling him a fricking idiot.

You can try and justify booing a college team's players however many different ways care to... Booing a winning team is only done by pussies. You have every entitlement to voice your opinion on these boards, but it will never justify booing our players in Tiger stadium. I see what you see and you very well might be right...but as for now it just makes you look like an a-hole.

exactly... that's what i've been asking to those frowning on the booing...
what's the "acceptable" expression of frustration for the people frowning on booing??? that's what i want to know!!!

Guess throw stuff on the field. Maybe PP on the bathroom walls?

I am not a big fan of booing college players but they get a free education out of the gig so they can learn to handle it.
but the coaches must get a good boo when they are being knuckleheads. i mean come on. miles makes a few million dollars and can handle the boo birds. J Lee may not be the solution but lets try it. booing is our way of communicating to the coach. BOO scary foot doctor. HOORAY for beer

Ay? I was saying this guy is cursing out someone on the internet, while at the same time basically saying how awful a person is for booing, not exactly a great way to make a point.

Well, I am just speaking truth and reality of real life. 92k fans watching an underachieving offense for over 2 years due to QB play and play calling.. The booing is a result of surpassing the fans level of patience.
Some change is expected now..
JJ asking the fans to not boo before his first home game shows where his head is
I don't boo, so I am not the A-hole you keep calling me. you don't know me
Booing is part of sports...and this JJ journey is now going on a 2 years .He isn't young anymore. Fans have been frustrated with the offense for 2 .5 years
Booing is just an expression of personal frustration.. People have their right to express it.
People yelling curse words is far more offensive to me than a boo,,"Put Lee in".. I mean come on people, Booing is not that big a deal...at this level in sports

Your right
as long as our offense sucks, you will hear boos FACT
as long as there are boos, we'll have 100+ threads the next day condoning the boos FACT

Miles would be better served by saying: "We just aren't very good throwing the football right now"
Rather than making a point about Not booing the bad play.
Just be honest, direct, and work hard to fix it
Change it up...Just do something different before we lose a game.

Its simple...
Play better and produce and you will be cheered, not booed.
If you can't handle the boos then take a seat.
JL was booed more than anyone, don't down to more than anyone. Noone can deny he didn't stand in there and take it like a man.

Idealism is nice but not realistic.

AMEN! And because he has stuck it out, many of us want to see the man light it up like we know he can

I am against booing, although I do understand people's frustration at this point. BUT, if JJ gets shaken by booing fans he doesn't have what it takes (which is quite obvious).
