I responded to your bet proposal in the other thread.
I can't come up with any fresh thoughts on the game. I have used all of my thoughts already. I just can't wait for the tournament to start. How many of you are taking thursday and friday off from school or work?

I wish Q could not worry about stopping every play when he's beat or in a bad position ,just move his feet, and if he gets beat, back off a little and don't get in foul trouble. If TH gets post position down to deep;Q hold his arms straight up and jump straight up,if TH Knocks him down, so be it. Hansborogh bound to miss a few. I don't think TH would score over 20 points on QT. I wish and I wish.
Butler's no problem we owe them Texas teams a beating

Yeah, But I could see Q giving him a lot of trouble. QT seems to get fouls in a hurry under normal circumstances though, I don't know if he can make it a half without fouling out against TH.

unc bench is better than our starters. we do not have a bench. if we had a randolph i think we could go to final four, but we dont.

Having Randolph this year wouldve been huge. But oh well. He seems to be finding his place in the NBA.

yeah, so can we thank brady for landing him and then blame him for leaving early?

Are you serious? Wow you arent biased at all. Live in reality. LSU won't get passed UNC.

The way Carolina got beat this year is with good guard play. Whether it was Tyrese or Vasquez or Teague, the opponent's G outplayed Ty Lawson. Hansburrah is not nearly as important to UNC as Green and Lawson. Green is the spark on defense, but not to the extent Ginyard is.
If UNC plays good defense, it's over. Most games they only turn it on for 5 to 10 minutes, and that's all they need.

If LSU plays their best game of the year and UNC plays an avg game, UNC will win by 10 or so.

Why? We are every bit as good as Maryland or better. Maryland beat them as did other teams that aren't world beaters: FSU, Clemson, etc.

Good post. You have to look at it like this. 5 college kids vs. 5 college kids.
It's all about MOMENTUM.
It's all about MOMENTUM.

Have your point guard drive to the bucket and put up the shot over Hansbrough. He is great at taking a charge but he is not a shot blocker. If your PG can score early and not dish the ball off while in the lane you will have success. Teams with penetrating guards like Wake Forest's Teague and the guard from Boston College have shown that they can have career nights with this strategy.
