I might be in favor of starting Temple at point to guard Lawson and let Martin play on the wing. Spencer has been shite the past few games. We need more size on Ellington and Green. Im worried that CJ will get flat out embarassed so Q Thorton may be a better option to bang with Hansborough. It'll be interesting to see what CTJ does, if we get that far.

In this type game, I would start QT and tell him to not make silly fouls. Rest him with CJ during the game, and then bring CJ in late in the game. He will be mad, have something to prove, and will not have to worry about fouling out.

Yep. They are last in the ACC in scoring defense and 11th in defending the 3.

That's what I think. or Green. It would be stupid for Temple to guard Lawson. Lawson would absolutely abuse him with his speed and quickness. Lawson had a fricked up ankle and still got Carolina to the final four. But what people are forgetting about are Davis and Thompson. I am telling you, Rebounding will be LSU's problem in this game. You can let TH get his, but if LSU plays Carolina, you will have to deal with, Frasor, Davis and Thompson. Hell even Zellar could give you problems.

LSU has to make UNC play defense for a long extended period of time. LSU must only shoot quickly on fast breaks on lay ups. Everything else, pull it back and run your O. I would love to see Temple guard Lawson, as Ellington has been really cold shooting the ball lately. Then again, having Temple on Ellington will pretty much free him up to double TH down low. The 2-3 match up zone should work to our advantage against them. Also, we need to send 2 players back on each shot, only crash with Thornton, Johnson, and Taz sending Temple and Spencer back on D. UNC is a team that gets frustrated when are not scoring a ton of points. Limiting their possessions and forcing them to play D are the keys.
