why can a SB team hit a teams aces one day and cant hit the next day?

Same reason a baseball team can rough up an ace one day and can't touch an average pitcher the next.

To be fair, LSU scorched some balls today and had good at bats, but Florida played great defensively and made a few highlight plays in the field.

The offense was bad but LSU was shite in every phase today, including pitching and defense.
They had 1 run, 2 hits and 4 errors
