Hard to disagree. These issues have been brought up more and more recently and, although shot down by a few, are easily recognized.

Other teams have been putting small players on simmons since we beat kentucky. Theyre content to let him hold the ball out there.

Adrian Wojnarowski has more sources than almost anyone that covers the NBA, and he routinely breaks NBA news before anyone else. It has some legitimacy to it.
The story is full of opinions of people within the league. It doesn't mean they're all right, and it doesn't mean their opinions are accurate or truthful. They're merely opinions they've given Wojnarowski.
Some of you people need a good education on how the media works. This story is like anything else -- consider the possible agendas from the sources and/or the writer (if there is any -- sometimes, there is and sometimes, there isn't) and decide for yourself. I think there's a some truth there but I don't necessarily agree with all of it. I also don't think the entire thing is false or a "splash report." The real truth is somewhere in the middle.

He will make a great forward in Greece, or Turkey or perhaps Israel in 2023....2024 if he's lucky.
I just did not see what all the hype was about this kid. Was he good? yes, but I'd rather have a Jarrel Martin as a big man.

For all this talk about how he will get better "with NBA coaching", I really have my doubts about that. He's going to be the guy the owner is invested in for big money; if there's a disagreement about something, Simmons will win.

this was definitely a problem. It can be coached and learned.. and probably acquired automatically when you aren't playing with someone (with "good energy") dragging his arms around on the ground like a neanderthal (Quarterman).

I'm not sure what the "character questions" are, but he didn't kill anyone.. He might not have done as well in class as someone who didn't have a 100 million dollar paycheck coming, but that's human nature. Not a character issue. I seriously doubt he's tough to coach if he has an actual coach.

but he had a tough physical inside game to make up for it. He was a player that you knew could go right into the NBA and be a dominant player. Can't say the same thing about Simmons. Simmons is going to have to develop toughness and an outside shot in order to become even marginally effective in the NBA. Simmons in time might develop into an NBA player but it is all speculative while with Davis there was no question that he would not only make it in the NBA but be a very good or even great NBA player.

I found the article very well substantiated and agree with everything the writer said and a lot that wasn't said. He went easy on Simmons.

If your an NBA team with first pick, would you take the chance on someone with obvious great skills but not able to take a game over in final minutes when given numerous chances. Or do you think he will have more agressiveness to will his team to win against grown men of the nba when the effort or killer instinct wasn't there against college opponents. I'd love more than anything to add to LSU resume of having a first pick but don't see how an NBA team would take that risk. And the team who picks numero uno is not going to be the team with a much better supporting cast than what many here have blamed LSU's lackluster season on. So what changes. And bowing out on NIT, Embarassing and disgusting for our esteemed university. Maybe John Bel told them we couldn't afford to let them play any more games.....
