I guess that is understandable given what all he has been through lately
this makes it sound like something bad just happened to him, what happened to him is a situation he brought about himself

So we should fire Cam for the OC of Southern Utah? Is that your plan for success?

I really think you may have hit the nail on the head. That's Gary himself

Poor guy just won't accept his lot in life

No, they'll simply shift in their criticism. It will go from "a decent QB will never develop under Miles" to "Miles finally let Cam run the offense."
Either way, the only credit Miles will ever receive from them is negative credit.
true
i do remember reading that Cam did not want BH to start against Auburn, didn't think he was ready.
Comments were made about Les putting BH in a situation to fail. I believe Les was hoping BH's talent would make up for the areas he was lacking in.
Looks like it is working out for the best. Les gave BH a shot and he came up short. BH didnt respond by folding, he has put the work in and according to reports we get, it shows.

Miles is just saving AJ's arm for the season.

The photos of Les have finally been destroyed.

AMEN!!! A point I've made myself a few times, usually resulting in a number of downvotes for some reason.
And another thing I don't get is how many times I read on here "Jennings is a good kid but...".
Just not sure a "good kid" is gonna go kicking doors in.

I think there may be something to this. Some guys get punched in the mouth and they're gun shy. Others get punched and work their butt off so it never happens again. It certainly seems Brandon has taken the second route.

B. Harris starting is only a small part of the championship formula. Removing predictability and game manage mode from the offensive scheme is even more critical. If BH has playmaking ability, then use it. If D. Smith has playmaking ability, then use it. I'm curiusif Miles will still have the game manager approach to the passing game and rely mainly on a bludgeoning running game. Not sure we have the dominant D to win with a game manager type qb and passing game. Crowton showed Miles how to have both and took him to his only NC. We will see.
I don't think anyone can disagree, but.....
In the game it takes a bit more than having ability and knowing the playbook. The "simple" plays are put in to take pressure of reading the whole field off of the QB. Puts them in a situation that they only need to "read" 1/4 or 1/2 of the field.
Communication is also big. The QB needs to be able to communicate to the coach what is going on in the game, it demonstrates that the QB's head is in the game and he is seeing the field. Doesn't matter that coaches up in the box can see everything. Coaches and QB's need to see same thing.

“He’s grown a lot from last summer to this summer. Well he’s grown a lot from the spring game to today,” Dural told Tiger Sports Digest‘s Ben Love on 103.7 FM in Lafayette. “He’s showing a lot of confidence in himself and in us. He’s showing us that he’s really learned the playbook and really got a feel for this offense.”

We'll need both
