Yall are supposed to be the die-hards that spend a small fortune every year to have the privilege of owning season tickets. What's a couple hundred more?

The people who have the money to do that likely already have plans this weekend and probably donated to the relief funds so STFU.

Because they actually have lives outside of LSU football
And when the game was planned to be away people actually make other plans believe it or not

Personally i dont want to have to sit next to someone who is poor and spent their rent money to buy a ticket.

Yall are supposed to be the die-hards that get priced out of tickets every year by greedy corporations that never stay for the second half and would love to have the privilege of owning season tickets. What's $75?

I know a family who planned their child's birthday party around this "away" game and isn't happy he can't go

Eta: I'm sure most families are in similar situations

Because I live three hours away and made plans with the assumption that this was an away game.

People in the BR/NOLA/Laffy region are really myopic sometimes. A lot of fans don't live close enough to do something like this on the spur of the moment.

Also, the fact that we are a 20 point favorite against an 0-3 team doesn't help at all
If this was Alabama or another top 10 sec team, then obviously a lot more tickets would be sold
People aren't going to change their plans for a game were they think we are gonna win easily

You jackasses are making this miserable. I'm almost wishing it was tomorrow at 5:30 that way this game would be in the rear view. How is it that 40000 people bought tickets to a game yet 140000 people are bitching about the attendance

I really, really want to be at this game, but my niece is playing for the state championship in softball. No way I am missing that!

Can you imagine if we were to lose? Forget that...if we don't win by at least 30 points. Don't understand why people are "shocked" by the LSU fans complaining about ticket price, sales, Aleva comments, etc. it's pretty much a normal week on the Rant.

Many season ticket holders are corporate. They buy dozens of seats and give them to clients. Its very difficult to do this with 3 days notice. This is not unique to LSU...if the Saints were in a similar situation you would see the same scenario...Season tickets holders are critical to a team, but you need real fans in a situation like this.

You can't expect every corporate season ticket account to automatically fork over extra $$ at a moments notice. Its all budgeted.

Not only this, but even if they did, the vast majority wouldn't get used as its not enough time to find customers to give them too...so its better for the fans to step up.

This isn't limited to large corporations either...I'm talking tons of small businesses. I think the majority of these corporate ticket holders bought a few tickets...but they can't buy every seat they own w 3 days notice. This is exactly why LSU didn't give us the choice to get our exact seats.

I'd love to be at this game

And I would be

But like most people that plan their lives around LSU football, we planned my mom's 60th birthday party for tomorrow.

We scheduled it over a month ago

As much as I love lsu games, I'm not missing my mom's first birthday party in years because some pathetic people on here think that their value in life is defined by the amount of people LSU can get into tiger stadium on a 3 days notice.

I can't speak for everyone, but Anne is write. Other people, like myself, made a concerted effort to attend the away game that was flipped on me.

My wife's family is from SC so we too a week off to come see them and watch the game. When the game was flipped, we just stayed.

Your niece goes to Silliman then and I'm going to the game(s) as well or else I'd be in TS.
