Because they woke up looking for a reason to bitch about O or Alleva. It’s just what happens in this place.

Why would anyone care who the head coach endorses unless said head coach calls out those who oppose

I think most people (I'm not sure of the folks on this board) would prefer that our sports celebrities (especially local) would stay out of politics. I've seen a few people say "I don't care who he supports as long as he wins." I think even those who say this would "prefer" Coach O stay out of politics.

Isn't it illegal for a state employee to publically campaign for a person holding public office?

Seems to be that way everywhere else.

I am not upset and I don’t really care. As a private citizen he has a right to support or speak for candidate of his choice. But it is my opinion that as the football coach of LSU it isn’t wise to openly support any candidate, party doesn’t matter. You potentially alienate a large part of your fan base. Again it is his right, I just don’t think it is wise.

. I read somewhere in the last day or so that this doesn’t apply to the HC at LSU. I think it is something about the majority of his pay comes from private funds.

Because Edwards publicly threatened the program for his tax plan?

Because people have lost the ability to let others have a different opinion than them.

It use to be I may not agree with you, but I'll die to defend your right to that opinion, now its if you dont agree with me on everything ever then you're a cuck.

97% of people actually dont care, but a lot of them feel the need to scream in false outrage because this board is a vastly Republican leaning and you know how that goes. The same posters would be falling all over themselves gushing over O had it been Trump, not because they care, but because they feel obligated to.

Makes me like Coach O even more. Of course, you'll always have the knee-jerk Republicans who will always respond negatively to an LSU affiliated personality supporting a Democrat. Naturally, they didn't say jack shite when Miles attended a Jindal fundraiser. They're a moronic traitorous bunch. I don't know what else to say.

Actually, a lot of people did. But you're obviously a piece of shite liberal so you will only hear and believe what you want. Liberalism is a mental disorder. If a first world country has enough liberals it will become a third world very quickly. Venezuela says hi.

I don’t like the move but I’m not triggered by it. O is just kissing his bosses arse. I firmly believe he would have done the same for any sitting governor.

We traded in a coach winning 77% for a coach winning 73%.

You must be upset if you only care about winning.

O saw what Joe did for CWW not meeting with him. O was worried what would happen if he didn’t show up for the Governor.

Personally, I think it is a nothing burger & I don't even agree w/ JBE's policies. Everyday the media's 2 second attention span has to focus on a new story.
