Why Alex Box not like Dudy Noble

Watching the Mississippi State game and why did LSU drop the ball and not make Alex Box like State and Ole Miss. We are missing out on so much fun and students would treat baseball like football if able to drink and cook.

They tried way too damn hard to build a new version of the old Box. Missed out on so many opportunities to make games more student/alcohol friendly.

Forgive me if I don't get upset that LSU didn't imitate fricking Moo state when building one of the finest college baseball stadiums in the land. Move to Starkville if attending a LSU baseball game is such a burden for you.

If you can only enjoy baseball games if you're under the influence of alcohol, don't come to LSU baseball games.

I like what we've got. Skip purposely developed high end donors, coaches committees and a major-league type of fan base. We still tailgate baseball with the best of em.

I would have preferred something like ole miss with a berm in the outfield rather than metal bleachers, but everything between the poles is A+

Fans who need alcohol to watch college sporting events are among the worst. I think we call them alcoholics

Guy points out that everyone looks like they're having a blast at the MSU stadium and he gets bashed as "we don't need alcohol to enjoy baseball".
Rant gonna rant I guess. MSU took the talent from our coaching staff. They have a fantastic stadium. It's noteworthy.

It's only a matter of time before we need to update the stadium. Chair backs should go down the lines and seriously need to reconsider the monstrosities in left and right field. There is no need to have metal stands that probably came from the old Box. There is a definite crowd that says you "don't need to drink to have a good, time" and your 19 year old self would kick your arse.

Ole miss has a nice outfeild setup. Picnic tables grills and some nice oaks.

Left field at doody Noble looks like a hillbilly free for all. No thanks. "Looks like fun and blah blah" great fun until LSU sells the spaces and 5-6 families are all that enjoy it. Looked like a mid week game against grambling attendance wise.

LSU fans tailgate, just like for football...we just don't do it in front of the TV cameras for everyone to see...
Also, lot of tix sold in those outfield bleachers, which helps their bottom line @ the end of the year...

I completely agree with what you said about ole miss' stadium and would rather the box everyday of the week. Miss states stadium renovations are going to be nice. Once we renovate the box we will add some new/better amenities...it's an arms race, LSU will win the facilities arms race against the two hillbilly schools. Bet.

I agree I wish LSU had a berm in the outfield.....if you don't want a beer or daiquiri at the game don't buy one....but don't ruin it for everyone else

I know huh? I hate pussies like that. It's a fricking sporting event, not church service. If someone wants to drink and enjoy the game then let them do it...i would be one of them without a doubt. If you dont like to drink and watch the game then don't do it. It's just that simple. The people that say crap like that are the same uptight fans that look at you all sideways when you're "cheering too loud". Pussies I tell ya.
