I love your posts ell.. I enjoy reading your opinions and I usually agree with them

Baseball teams need to learn about 7 different ways to win ball games and the only way to do that is through adversity

If adversity is cool, consider LSU baseball Miles Davis.

Agree 100%.

I have said the same thing about CPM having resources at LSU and not taking advantage of them only to be told how LSU doesn't have that many advantages. Then I have even had some attempt to portray Alex Box as a dump and say how bad it is.

CPM is the problem. His recruiting needs to be overhauled. There are too many small guys and not nearly enough
Power in the LSU lineup. Period.

They're athletes. I agree with ell and Adam. At some point (maybe last night was "it"), most of them are going to go "shite. Maybe we're more press than reality..." and start battling. Say what you want about Lange's stare downs and stuff, but I don't see much of that fire from the rest (well maybe Reynolds when his hat is in question and every now and then Hess). When I played and was in a funk, or a lot of us were, sometimes it just takes one person going "man. frick this. I don't care where the ball goes but at least I'm going to HIT the damn thing...". I'll reference Warren Morris here. I may go down on strikes, but it's going to be swinging (something like that). So. Yes this team is smallish, but they have more pop than demonstrated. It isn't just Deichman that can hit hard. They are great defensively and fast. They just seem to need an attitude change. Not so sure that's ALL on the coaches. Either you have grit or you don't. When you see a Freeman (senior) slam his helmet down, he's almost at the frick it point, which may be a good thing...

Well, I haven't gotten that far down, yet...
Still see them making a run, they just need to get jump started, as I have said, maybe the gumps are the ones to get us over the hump...

Last year a possum ran out under bright lights and charged an Arky player and started a streak .... this year will take nothing less than a trained gator to turn loose in Alex Box ..... swamp people please help us out we are desperate

Great OP, el. And this line above from Mr. Hangover explains LSU 2017, but even more profoundly, it explains OSU's 2017 team.
